Privacy enquiries: privacy@aumivi.com

2. Applicable law

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Legal bases include performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests, and your consent.

3. Data we process

  • Account and profile data such as name, email address, verification status, and workspace.
  • Usage and technical data, including viewed pages, timestamps, browser information, and shortened or anonymised network identifiers.
  • Searches, campaigns, and unlocked company records within your private workspace.
  • Billing and transaction information; full payment details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by DataUnio.
  • Voluntarily submitted company claims and correction proposals, including contact and address details.

4. Purposes

We process data to create and protect accounts, verify email addresses, provide company search and workspaces, manage subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, improve company data after reviewed submissions, and develop the service technically.

5. Matomo statistics

We self-host Matomo at statistics.aumivi.com. By default, Matomo measures usage without cookies and respects the browser's Do Not Track setting. Matomo cookies for more complete returning-visitor statistics are enabled only after your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time in Cookie Settings.

6. Processors and recipients

We use carefully selected service providers, including Appwrite for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and our self-hosted Matomo instance for statistics. Data is shared only to the extent necessary and on a contractual basis.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as required for its purpose, legal obligations, contractual processing, or the defence of claims. We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, although no online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent with future effect. Contact privacy@aumivi.com. You may also have the right to complain to a competent data protection authority.

9. Updates

We update this policy when DataUnio, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies. Last updated: August 2026.
